they are pointless, IMHO they look dumb unless they are painted, but the stock fenders are so light anyway there would be almost no gains whatsoever.
well my car is black and i have bent fenders, oem are so freakin expensive, like 100+100 for shipping, i remember seeing some cf fenders at a race event and they were 100 bucks for two, i know probably a good deal, i just wanna stay with the oem style, maybe cf. plus CAN you paint carbon fiber? what s the use of getting carbon fiber? wouldnt you just get fiberglass if you were gonna paint it?
thanks for your opinion though

Why not buy certi-fit fenders? They're lighter/thinner than stock, look factory, and they're super cheap. Honestly, cf fenders are going to cost way to much, for the amount of weight they save

I think it depends on the car. I had a some certi-fit parts on my old car, and didn't have a problem with the fit, I had to "adjust" them to fit properly, but it wasn't a big problem. I personally would rather have OEM, but if you want something cheap, w/out rust, dings, etc, certifit.com
