ok i know the 92-95 si hatches have rear speakers. but in my cx i guess who ever had the car b4 me put si rear speaker vents u know the ones that are right next to the rear passenge seat. my question is what do i have to do to put rear speakers behnd there and wire them up. are the cars prewired to have speakers there or am i gonna have to run new wires from the radio to the rear speakers....

i think they should be pre-wired to the back.......
i installed mine and found the wires by opening the side panels and extended the wires.

 

but u know what im tlakin about right?? the rear speaker grills or vents my car has the spots for speakers but theres no speakers there bt i want to put some there and i was wondering if the wires were al;ready there or not u know??

 

i ran new wires for mine and then just mounted the up with some crazy brackets i made... sorry its the best i can tell you..

 

The wires are there. Pull off the panels and reach inside. They will be in there somewhere and may have blue tape over the connector.

yeah sorta, but mine doesnt have that
open up your side panels and see if you can find the wires....

 

yea ill do tha i just hate takin those rear panels off because when i take them off it always feel like im breaking it u know lol and then its hard to get them back in the right way

put the seats down, get a flathead screw driver and cover the tip with a cloth....i open them up every month or so to spray the inside panel

 

you might want to try and get ahold of the japanese rear speaker panels with the two speakers in each one. i might be getting rid of mine if you want them

 

i have the rear speaker panels. just that there are no speaker there lol. i guess im gonna need to make brackets and run new wires if the car isnt prewired
