Default DIY Mini-me and crower cam

I just got my full mini-me setup and Iwant to know how hard this thing would be to install myself. I have some mechanical know-how but im no pro. So far it sounds like the hardest thing is loosening the drive pulley and working the timing belt. Also I was thinking of getting a crower stage 2 cam and springs, but is it worth the $500.00?

Much thanks

my only concern with the cam is, are all the clearances ok? i wouldn't want valves hitting pistons.

The crower cams are designed for this engine, so I assume the clearances are ok.
Do you think the head will be too hard to install though? Time isnt a concern, I am just worried I will get 1/2 into it and then be like wtf. Wouldn't want that.

Thanks

yes they are designed for that engine, but not for whatever combo you are doing. a mini me is completely different. what head and block do you wnt to do?

True, do you think it would work with a D16 block and a y8 head? How much power would I get?

Thanks

d16what? D16A1 Acura Integra 1986-1987
D16A3 Acura Integra 1988-1989
D16A3 Acura Integra 1988-1989
D16A6 Honda Civic Si/CRX Si 1988-1991
D16A6 Honda Civic EX 1990-1991
D16A8/9 Acura Integra 1988-1989

pick a block. it all depends on what setup, what pistons, what rods.
