Default Need "How-To" on stripping paint and priming doors

I need a write up in detail on how to strip the paint off doors (outside & inside) and priming them. I just bought 2 crx doors in red without the door panels. My car is black and I want to prep the doors before I give it into the body shop. A full write up and product detail is desperately needed! THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS.

about 180 grit sand paper, and sand it, on some things youll just have to scuff it a little. you dont have to take it to bare metal. the old paint can also serve as a base primer and help to sand down to pull out little nicks

If you are going to have a body shop paint it, then have them prep the doors. If you do it yourself and end up missing something or didn't see a ding, then the body shop will think that everything is prepped and just ready for paint. they may also charge you more for **** ups that may have been done by you (no offense). you can save yourself time and money if you have the body shop do the work.

peace

i dont agree with the above post of not doing it yourself, if it saves you money and you feel confident that you can undertake the task, then do it, my uneducated first guess is to do a really good job taping off before you give it to them, also i think it could help to tell them what you did when you give it to them
