i'd stay with the gsr.

the 99-00 si has the b16 in it with 160 hp.

the torque numbers are pretty low, just a little better than the d16.

your gsr has more hp and torque. the si runs a 15.7 stock so if you want to run low 14s, i would suggest turbo. you might be able to hit that tough with the bolt ons plus cams, cam gears, and tuning.

i would stay with the gsr, but whatever you like.

Stick with the GSR... It has 10 more HP, and more torque, plus it's OBD I... I have 2000 Civic SI, and when I blew my motor (B16a2). I dropped in JDM GSR. I went 15.3 in the quarter mile. Only Intake, and header on street tires. Oh-yeah, I'm still using the B16 tranny!

Just get yourself a headpackage with some cams, cam gears, springs, retainers, and chipped ecu or hondata, you'll be hitting mid 14's depending on tires, and driving... Maybe even a low 14 teens...

99 or 00 Si blue
jdm header
spoon N1 exhaust
2.5 in cat
AEM cai
spoon TB
V-afc or maybe hondata already have the vafc
spoon cam gears
ctr cams
and maybe itr head P&P with ctr cams and spoon camgears
and falken tires

thinki could run 14.5 or no im not the best driver in the world but i dont think im that bad

i have a 2000 blue Si and i love it. if u want to trade ur GSR in for a newer Si go for it. like they said, with some JDM parts and a good driver behind the wheel , u can run 14s with out boost. plus Sis look dope, and ur list of mods looks like a dream list for me.. goodluck with that stuff, and let us know what u decide to do.

stick with the GSR. civic's have no torque unless they have GSR heart. i ran a 14.8@93 mph with i/h/e in my 99 GSR. a civic could only dream of doing that with the same mods.
