Ok...i finally connected my air/fuel ratio gauge to the correct wire yesterday and I am going nuts because the darn thing never stays steady. When the car is at idle it reads from reach slowly down to stoich to lean then back up then back down. When I accelerate moderately it reads everything back and forth fast...when I am heavy on the gas it reads rich which is what I want because i have the turbo setup...after being heavy on the gas as soon as i release the gas pedal i get no ready as if the darn thing is turned off...then when it idols it goes back to back and forth readings very fast and when I drive normal its jumping fast on lean stoich and rich...is this normal?...because my friends gauge stays steady on stoich going to rich and when he is heavy on the pedal it goes to reach...he gets steady reading i get a jumpy ready...what can it be?
