vtec activation switch fucked up shit going on, help cuz the search is down
hey guys i know i coulda searched for tghis as it was already probably posted but the search is down for me right now,,, k what happaned was i did a b16a install in my 91 civic si hatch,,, i had an LS in there before so i kept the tranny and i kept the azxles and the ecu but i also bought a b16a ecu for some odd reason (which im selling so let me know),,, k so with the pr3 it wasnt hitting vtec at all so what i did was i bough ta vtec rpm activation switch we wired it up all correctly threw the ls computer back in so it wouldnt throw a code then tried that out, it actually does kick into vtec but at a very low rpm say about 3k, 2800 maybe,,, not sure why its doing this so if you have any idea whats going on and how to change it please let me know asap thanks guys and have a good day, peace
borrow or buy someone elses pw0 or pr3, if you still dont get vtec then check the vtec spool, then the oil pressure, then the temp sensor, etc etc...
dont use an ls ecu on the b16 for the love of god......
