Hey does anyone have a howto on swaping a b16a2 into a 1993 civic ex with a d16z6.

step 1 - have a beer
step 2 - take the d-series out
step 3 - get a 98+ integra harness and put it on the B16a2
step 4 - throw the motor in and plug everything up.
step 5 - have another beer

 

after you take the axels out and the shift linkage...its pretty straight forward, if you know the wiring and such...good luck

Is LS swap will be exactly same?

 

Hey thanks for that BTW this is not for me it is for a friend but he will appreciate the help, but that site only has one for a b18c will it work the same with a b16a

 

Hey guys will the cspeedracing one be the same for a b16 also i read something about wireing in a knock sensor or somthing can someone please explain

 

the swap is the same the only thing u wont have to do is wire up the secondary butterflies because only the b18c1 has that. so yes u can follow the swap procedures the same

 

What about the knock sensor what is that sorry i am a noobie to this and i am helping him put it in

lol i was going to put that link there too but u beat me to it. beleive it or not that is one of the most helpful sites that tells u what to do and where to do it. . it also has the wiring diagram for the ecu pinouts u need. on the ecu plugs .....
