i am fairly close to buying a new *used* car, i've narrowed it down to a 5th Gen hatch. and my question is, would it be better to buy a full LS swap or, just go to my friends grandpa's junk yard and find a good mileage tranny out of a teg and start building up a b20 in hopes of making it a b20vtec motor.

Whats the out look on this?
B20vtec, LS/VTEC
or just leave stock, no vtec head.

Any replys are great, I've tried searching and it keeps coming up "B20, b18b, LS" to short to use in search..
