If you were to get a B16A and you lived in the states. Where would you find all the JDM Mechanical Parts to fix it up. I'm assuming you just can't run into Auto Zone and pick them all up . OR can you? Where do you get all the parts?

I used a lot of 99-00 Civic Si parts on my b16a1. Most all fit except distributor parts.

 

hey, i used parts off that list, they didnt all fit. the timing belt was short, so i had to get one from a 99-00 civic si, and the cap and rotor didnt fit from the list.

 

just fyi you guys.......99 si parts are cheaper than del sol parts at the dealer.......they may be the same thing........but ask for 99 si parts and youll get a better price

Sometimes they give you the sohc vtec del sol engine, I just save time and order it for a 00 si if the part is the same.

 

Funny, I'm using an OEM del Sol VTEC belt and it fits fine... same with the distrib cap & rotor from the '90-'91 Integra PR3/PR4

 

I think with the whole timing belt of del sol vs. 00 si you just have to make sure to get both timing belt and water pump of the same kind. I went with the del sol vtec timing belt and water pump and everything fit perfect.

you have to use those specific spark plugs? not 90-91 integra plugs?

 

I use BKR6E-11 plugs, I believe.
