hey how long will it take your alarm to drain the car's battery? how many days can a car be armed untill it drains the battery? assuming the car is not driven...

is the LED the only thing using the battery when the car is armed? and everything else only uses the battery once a zone is triggered?

 

Assuming no other electrical problems, over 2 weeks easy.

 

There will be at least one chip on the board that needs juice while its just sitting there. Armed or umarmed its still going to pull off the battery. most of our stuff pulls between 10- 30 ma (assuming a basic install, no extra stuff) at rest.
when we get comebacks for current draw, the vehicle is usually pulling over 100 - 200 ma. not many cars can take that for very long...

 

Yeah, my brothers car sat for over 2 weeks with the led blinking and there were no battery problems
