waht kinda springs and rate you have in there now?
I'd get stiffer springs,
traction bars up front,
slicks(this will probably help the MOST)
burn your tires a little longer

launch lower nad owrk your way up. i usd to pull 2.4s/5s all the time but got down to 2s on street tires. i was hpapy w/ that since my car ran 15s when i was really workin on it.
Yeah I have seen the Jimfab traction bars, and all I can say is that they're f'n bad ***. You should try those out. Oh yeah and try some slicks again, just dont break another axle

I suggest to get a traction bar. Jimfab is OK but wait when you see my traction bar, It'll be here this week and can't wait to put it in. Made out of 100% cromoly.
yeah, i'm sure your traction bar is great...but who in the hell makes them for a 2nd gen teg?? thats what i need to find out..lol
I have drag launch springs on my car and let me tell you, its a really rough ride. they work well but you feel every bump.

can u drive on the street everyday with this thing on your car? i mean will it hurt or damage anything? just curious?
The price of the Bar is $350. I ask them the same question about driving on the street, and they said that we should not have any problem with it. One of the guy that work there have it in their street car. Here's the site of the CO. http://www.speedmachineracing.com Just ask for Matt, He's the owner of the shop and tell him that Vic in Florida sent you.

That is awesome that they make for our cars now. I have been looking for quite some time. The only thing is that our cars come stock with them. There is a company that makes bearings that replace the bushings. Has anyone tried these??? I know the kit is only like $165.

Yeah.. They started making them for the 2nd gen. teg because there's so many people were asking for it. So now you have it.

hey vic, just out of curiosity, do they incorporate a mounting point for the factory crossmember? the way the DA subframe is set up, there's a front crossbar with radius rods (replaced by the traction bars), as well as a rear subframe bar, both of which run latitudinally. they are connected by a longitudinal crossmember, in an "I" type of formation (or "H" if you're looking from one of the fenders.
). do you happen to know if this is accomodated? (i'm just not readily able to make phone calls where i am so i gotta get all the info i can on here and be an info *****

i'd try slicks or drag radials first before gettin the traction bar. BFG drags eliminated my wheel hop completely and i dont have an lsd or traction bar
