if the koni yellows are on full firm, it'll be stiff/bouncy

If shocks are on full stiff the ride will not be bouncy. If you increase the stiffness/ or damping/rebound rates then that reduced the shock to absorb energy. With Konis the ride should not be bouncy. The only way in which the ride would be horribly bouncy is with blown shocks.

Your previous shocks were probobly blown..

I installed KYB agx's and my car sat a lil higher, because of the shocks being brand new, the car sat where it is supposed to be...

Is it a good bouncy?? or i-cutmy-springs-look-at-me-ima-stunna bouncy?

ok...technically it "jolts" instead of "bouncing". does that sound like a better description?

Seems to me like you have a lot of money laying around and someone told you to get the konis becuase they're the best shock on the mrk and you did, but you don't know jack **** about using them. Kind of like a bimbo blond buying and Enzo ferrari and not knowing its theres a F1 style paddle shifter.

if i remember correctly, koni yellows are gas charged monotube shocks. This means that they have a separator(sp?) with gas under very high pressure behind it. This gas does exert a force on the shock piston, and can in fact raise your car a bit. I believe it even says so somewhere on the koni site.

If you have your shocks set on full stiff, then the ride will be jolty (every thing feels like a pot hole). if your shocks are blown, then the ride will be bouncy (it will feel like you're in a boat) if you have your shocks set low, but it is still very jolty, then you probably have no suspension travel, and you're f-in up your car.

turn the shock setting down low, and you should have a comfortable ride.

unless you have adjustable perches or buy different springs you're stuck with your current ride height.

you should be able to adjust the shock setting by the **** on top of each shock.

i gotta try this button out, especially on this post.

There are 3 perches I believe on the Koni yellow (mine are set on the middle). The neuspeed Koni yellows have 5 perches. If you want to go thru the hassle of reinstallation, you can change the perch you're using.

Also, I'm not sure if you bought these shocks new or used, but it should have come w/ with white **** that you use to adjust the shocks.

Look at the ****, it tells you which direction is stiff. Obviously, the opposite direction softens things.

For street driving, I have my shocks at 1 full turn away from full stiffness. But this really depends on how you want your ride to feel and what your spring rates are.

Question: Who did the install?
