hey guys i have a daily driver em1 civic 00. and im planning to get suspension upgrade. right now i have h&r race springs with stock shocks. its nice but i wanna go lower. im thinking of goin with ground control coilover sleeves. do i need shocks? will shocks blow?

if they do blow, what shocks are better to get for daily driving, kkoni yellows or tokico illuminas? i know gc with KONI is a proven combo but is it necessary for daily driven cars because its really expensive and i dont plan on spending all that money if i dont need to. tokico illumas seem to be a better and affordable shocks. also i heard konis go up $40 in sepetember, dunno if true.

go with the konis if I remember correctly they also come with a life time warranty. I my self have illuminas and like them a lot but you really cant go wrong with a life time warranty and they are rebuildable.
