hey guys it looks like im gonna be ordering my aem ems within the next week or two...my shop said that we can take my car to dynamic autosports to tune it, and i wanted to know if they are good with the aem? i know they have tuned the fcon via import 2nr with the turbo rsx...but are they good at street tuning the aem ems?, itll be for a daily driven 96 prelude turbo...thanks in advanced guys..i ran a search already and only came up with a couple answers...anyone else had experience with them?

 

They are awesome at FMUs and the FCon. Don't know about AEM. Call them 949-457-1234. Just Ask. Call AEM and ask them who they recommend in So. Cali.

our shop deals with dynamic autosports everyday. my boss is good friends with the owner eddie kim. they are awesome at tunning the aem. they can tune just about anything.

yeah i heard R&D does nice work with the aem...but i think dyanamic will charge me less for tuning cuz r&d is 150 an hour...jus found out dynamic tuned our shop del sol, 451whp @16lbs of boost...yikes...looks like dynamic knows their stuff with aem...i saw the power curve its very smooth...nice curves n all...it should be like that right? not all faultline lookin n whatever...

 

is anyone of of those two tuners better than the other with the ems?

 

Dunno. You might want to call AEM on that one. I'm sure both shops are VERY capable of tuning the EMS effectively. However, I wouldn't really be that price sensitive on something like tuning.
