OK first off I have serched both the recent and the archives and can't find what I'm llooking for. I also tried calling Mike at IPS today but kept getting the answering machine over there so here it goes....
I'm in the processing of wiring up my headlights. I have looked through all the existing threads about wiring and none of them match up to what I have. I have seen where Mike and others have posted what color wires do what, the problem i'm having is my wire colors don't match up. I looked at the brown plug on the lights, the wiring that was still attached when I got the headlights with my front end and also my facotry wiring, none match up so I need help with this since this is my last step before she goes in the booth to be painted.
Next, the turn signal on the headlights I noticed it is a single filiment bulb. Should I just use that one and it just be a turn signal only or should I hshave one of the parts of my old facotry plus and use the dual filiment bulb. If I use the JDM bulb then I will no longer have a park light in the front which is required in the US.
Lastly, i have a blue wrapped plugged coming from what looks like my foglight and it's only on the drivers side headlight. How do I go about making sure that both foglights work?
Thanks in advance to everyone that is going to post here and help!

Do a search (instead of just saying you did one).
EDIT: If you need help, try searching for "jdm headlight" in the ITR forum's archived threads.

Thank you very much, that helps alot. What about my turn signal/park light issue. Also what is that blue colored plug I have in the back of one of my headlights for?

i think you should just use your US turn signal lights. screw the jdm look and be legal. Plus i think it looks better on then off at night. Also on that blue bulb your talking about i believe that is your city light bulb. you just need to buy a new pair to match them up. hope this helps.

Don't mean to bump a six year-old thread, but at least I searched before creating a new one. Anyway, I am wondering if anyone can update the info on the page as to how to wire up the headlights.
I am looking for the proper way to wire the jdm lights! From what I've read, there are two ways that it is done, and I guess the right way is to have the sidemarkers blink only when the directional is on, and the fog lights go on independently?
