tranny problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok for the last few months my tranny has been grinding 3rd and been kinda tough to put into first gear. Now it is almost impossible to put into 1st at times and almost all other gears when shifting. Is my tranny going out or is this a clutch problem. I have a stageII clutch in right now and it can't have more than 7K miles on it so I hope it's not that. Can anyone help me out? TIA

Sounds like your synchros are getting bad. What kind of fluid is in there, you could try changing your tranny fluid and see if that helps any.

so you guys think it's most likely the synchros? The guy at the transmission place said he thought it could be the clutch from the description I gave him. HOPEFULLY he is wrong and it is the tranny so I will finally have a good reason to buy the Si tranny I have been wanting. Thanks for the replys
