I had a local exhaust shop make me a 2.25" mid-pipe and removed the resonator. I kept the stock muffler. When I added my SRI it really woke up my exhaust note!! I am very please with my results and the price of $48.00 for the pipe. It doesn't sound like a weed-eater!! Has a low growl to it. I could tell a difference in the pull on the upper RPM range too. Good luck.

Kruzen!!!

Im debating over this or the Thermal R&D exhaust. What would you guys recommend. With the money I could save I could use towards other mods but do you guys think i would be better off with the Thermal?

Honestly, when I had the thermal on my car, it had a little more power than the oem muffler/2.25" B-pipe. I don't want to sound biased, but this is what I experienced.

Honestly? My EP3 is my daily driver and my parts budget *should* go toward my R. I really didn't need an aftermarket exhaust on the EP3 anyways. I needed the money for something else too.

The thermal sounds good though. Ask Josh02Si here in about a week
