My 00 Tafetta White GSR - with story
this car has come a long way from when i first got it. some of you may remember the story of me trading my 93 Si hatchback (silverstone metallic) with JDM ITR swap to a kid in texas for this near-stock GSR. i found out a few weeks after the trade that he had hyrolocked the motor and had bent a valve. all had been fixed but he decided to withhold that info during the trade so as to make it go through. of course, there was nothing i could do about it, but it really upset me that there would be people out there that would do such shady things.
when i first heart the news, i was crushed. however, my buddy encouraged me to do the car right and show that other kid that i CAN take a cruddy situation and turn it into something nice. thats why i'm really proud to be able to post pics of it now... the car has went through a complete change, and after autocrossing it a few weeks ago i can say that i am very happy with how it has turned out.
here are some recent pictures. the first is at Chicago Import Revolution 2 weeks ago where i took 3rd place JDM class. the next two are at roll in for the show (sorry for the crappy quality). 4th is the cusco coilover, itr lca and rear sway. 5th is the rear cf strut bar.
dyno plots to follow - i put down 154whp last fall with only intake, intake manifold and catback (no header/cat), which is pretty good for OBD2 revised firmware. no cams at the time. exterior-wise i am done - thats why i decided to post some pics. comments and criticism are welcomed as always. thanks for reading.

WOW great transformation. I was actually looking for a eg not to long ago, so i searched the archives and saw that yr eg was for sale and that you traded it, i was willing to pay that amount too
. Later I saw the post where u said the guy scammed you
. I'm really glad you made the best out of a bad situation. Seeing your car before, I know you'll make this car look great.

That looks soooo nice... You have done excellent work there. I would not have chosen 17" rims, but I think you have enough power to roll them.
Car looks great! As for the shady trade, even with the bent valve, I still think you made out better in the deal. The resale value of a 2000 GSR is much higher than a 93 Civic w/swap.
