Yet another Swap Wiring Question (JDM B18C into 1995 CX)
Well we got the swap done w/o any problems. Then we did most of the wiring w/o any problems.
But I'm stumpped with this one wire.
On the IAB Connector there is two wires that come off it.
Pink/blue
Yellow/black.
I put the pink wire to A17 like this diagram says.

I didn't hook up the Purge Solenoid, because the car already had one? wtf?
Now, the purge solenoid wire is also yellow/black.
So, do we hook up the 2nd wire off the IAB (yellow/black) to A20 like the diagram says?
Besides that, the car is running great, no check engine codes. But the dual runner is not opening.

Moving A20 to A17 will make your IAB work. I just went through this a few months ago and thought it couldn't be that easy, but it is. You can verify that it's working by checking for vacuum (at anything below 5800 RPM, i.e. idle) on the vac line that connects to the top of the IAB dashpot (you'll also see the actuator arm move). The most fun method, however, is to listen for that telltale wail at 5800 RPM

switch the pins around on the plug.

What about the Yellow/Black wire coming off the IAB Sensor?
It's not hooked up to anything?
What do I do with it. ?
I did run it to the ECU, but it's just sitting there.

why was it necessary to switch the wires around? wouldn't that cause either IAB or EVAP to not function at all since the wires are backwards?
