Default Swap for a 91 hatch

i know this has probably been discussed like 10 billion and five times but what are the things that i will need to get in order to do a gsr swap into a 91 hatch.

also what do u guys personally think about the gsr for this car. i have had people tell me the b16 but to me this is way over rated and over done. everyone has doen one. i cant really afford a type r and i think that the h22 would be too heavy for a track and strip application. i would actually rather have more corner speed and handling than straight line speed.

also further down the road how much room is left for a turbo setup. i know that the b18 takes considerably more room than the d16 that it has in it now.

basically i am looking for tons of pros and cons and basically whatever input that someone has about this motor the swap in general and what they think are the limits of the motor from a technical standpoint.

TIA

Well you need b series mounts,b16a or b18a cable tranny, you need a 94-95 gsr ecu and I think you have to convert to 0bd1 too. There is a couple of things.

Kinda OT but you might want to change that avatar. Someone could cause a BIG fuss over that.

Well it's not that easy you can't put a hydro tranny into a cable tranny car only if you want to go with the trouble of converting cable to hydro.Only if you can find a 92-93 1.7 gsr motor but good luck. You need to do things to make a 94 and up gsr swap work.Do research that a good starting point.

Stick with the 1.8 tons better than a 1.6 trust me. auto x is 10 folds with torque over guttless b16's.. on a side note .. just find any b16 tranny and you will be good to go. just my .02
