I went and bought some more lithiun grease for my B&M shifter. I relubed everything massively. It stopped making the ringing noise for about a day ,but now it has started again. It only does it above 4,000rpms. Any suggestions on what it is or at least how to make it so I can't hear it vibrating? Thanks in advance.

 

bend the exhaust hangers so your pipe is farther away (lower it) from the bottom of your shifter.
and check to see if the shift linkage/rods are far enough away from exhaust/heat shields and such.

 

turn up the radio
