Default OT: Pronunciation

I wanted to know how to say two things:

first, is the "Mu" in Mugen "Moo" or "Myu"? And, is the "gen" pronounced like a hard G (gun) or a soft G (George)?

And, do you pronounce the little "i" at the end of APEX'i?

Thanks for helping a retard out fellas.

the "i" in a'pex is not usually pronounced, because the company is apex, and it is pronounced A (like in Ace) = pex. so Apex

If it makes you feel any better, the Japanese mangle pronunciations far worse than us - case in point:

super=supa
Civic = Shibbiku

Don't forget, 5-Zigen is "Go Zigen"!
And those roof-racks, Thule, are "Too-lay"
And if you say "Oh I no R net-see tae kuray doo-ka" in a very gruff voice, You're saying "Can you keep up with my R?!?" in japanese! (gotta love Initial D, wish i knew what the actual words were)

Yeah I know what you mean. I once read something on fucked-up japanese pronunciation of American words - they had a restaurant in Japan called "grilled children" or something like that...the "children" was supposed to be "chicken".

Ross - who insists on pronouncing the Japanese counts right in his Karate class

actually 5-Zigen is pronounced "Go-Jigen"

and what's "Oh I no R net-see tae kuray doo-ka", b/c it sure ain japanese... it should be "ore no aaru to tsuite ikeruka!"

Sweet, now I know how to write it too! Thanks Yosh, you're the bomb-diggity. My high-school french isn't that hip in the import racer scene..."j'ai besoin de NOS!" doesn't quite get the ole engines revving...
and my horrible phonetic spelling was the best i could do, forgive me for butchering several thousand years of culture in one fell swoop
