Hood Pins installation...
i just bought a carbon fiber ZC hood, and i also got SPARCO Hood Pins.... and i was wondering how do you install the hood pins without doing it wrong....
(i tryed searching but the search isn't workin for me)

The tip I've heard is drill into the frame of the car (the metal beam right above the headlights works) and put in the bolt part of it, do it for both sides. Than take a dab of grease and put it on the top of the bolt and close the hood until it touches the hood. Then put a drill bit in the center of that grease dab and just drill it.
However unless you are in some sort of racing series or something you may not need them. Good brands like Vis or Fiber Images have the proper reinforcements that you don't need them. I've had my Vis CF hood for a year and half with no hood pins and its been perfectly fine.

the reason i want them is because i tend to go over 100 MPH on the highway at times....... and i dont want my CRX that has over $12,000 all together, including the car, broken in peices, so i dont want to take that chance....

Bah, we build the cars to have fun. Going 100 MPH is no big deal, Hell I did 120 on the way to work tonight playing around with a new Sentra Spec V.
Hint: Spec V got ate up.
