Default Tein RA vs Apexi N1 dampers

what's up fellow's h-t go'ers. i don't own an ITR but since you guys are the suspension guru's i thought that you'd be able to answer my question better than others.

1. i wanted to ask for and and all info on the Apexi N1 dampers (spec 2000)

and

2. i wanted to know if anyone could give me a comparison of the Apexi N1's and Tein RA's

info on anything about these 2 dampers would be great. anything from say, track review to just everyday drive. i wanted to get as much info as i could before i would go out and get one of these sets.
thanks in advance

RA's come standard with pretty high spring rates (14k/10k), I am sure the Apex'i will be somewhat lower, I personally wouldnt want to run 14k/10k if my car were primarily a street car.

Being that this is in your sig, what are you trying to gain by changing your suspension?

Go and ask your question in the proper forum, if you do not have an ITR.

Different chassis designs have different handling characteristics.

RAs are constructed out of a full aluminum body (really lightweight) and single rod structure. 783/559 spring rates for the Integra R, I wouldn't even consider these for a daily driver, I had them, sold them. On the other hand, cornering and launching characteristics are unbelievable. Just prepared to get rocked.

I have H&R full coilovers now, great compromise for the street!

I couldn't comment at all about the N1s, honestly, I have no experience with them.

I have the tein RE (14k front/10k rear) in my car now and I think they are great. I had them set in the middle of the dampening adjustment and the ride was not too bad. If you had crappy roads I wouldn't recommend them for daily driving, but our roads here are pretty decent.

I can't comment too much on the handling characteristics, but I can say that turn is instantaneous and they do hold the car incredibly stable. There is no body roll, or brake dive. The car just moves where it is pointed. As soon as I get some track time and autox's under my belt with this suspension I will compose a more meaningfull review.

Until then....
