Which do you guys think is better performance wise, a JDM ITR 4-1 Header or a DC SPORTS 4-1 JDM Header? Application is a 94 GSR.

-I am not interested in the JDM bling+

 

From the great header test, I saw that the JDM 4-1 header had better top end while the DC JDM 4-1 header had better midrange. They were VERY similar tho. maybe 1-2wHP off. That's about it.

I personally would get the JDM 4-1 header. You can get a skidplate and heatshield for it. The DC header hangs lower.

haven't seen teh header test, but the dc is supposed to have a little bit larger primaries than the oem jdm. But the dc is gonna hang lower than the oem and like the other guy said, wit the oem jdm piece you can pick up a botl on skid plate or add that sleeper affect with the oem heatshields.

 

How about the JDM ITR HEADER compared to a regular DC 4-1 will you get more power with the ITR header? Also, how long are the ITR headers built to last, since it's oem does that mean the life of the car?

 

JDM ITR 4-1 header has a 2.5" inch collector while the DC 4-1 header has a 2.25" inch collector. You get better flow with the JDM 4-1.

I knew that but wanted to make sure I was making the right choice going with the JDM ITR header. Well it looks like it will be JDM ITR 4-1 and carsound cat for me.

Good choice. I plan to do that as well.

 

If you port the welds on the JDM ITR with a die grinder it'll give even more HP.

 

get the oem jdm itr 4-1. the DC hangs to low. I'v already scrapped my skidplate just going over speed bumps(2" drop). i couldnt imagine having a DC...
