I called jdmhondaparts.com today and they said they'd be out of stock for a while on the universal es oval muffler.

I just got my DC 4-1 header today, so all I'm really waiting for to bolt everything on is a universal muffler. I hadn't really even considered getting a catback because the shop is going to run 2.5in mandarel bent piping on a carsound cat.

Does anyone know an online store that sells ES Ovals in stock? If not, anything similar to this muffler. I don't really want a huge muffler, or one thats really loud. Thats what attracted me to the oval in the first place.

magnaflow sells a same style version of the ES Oval...

 

whats the hype over the ES oval? you can get the same muffler in other major brands.

 

Doesn't really matter to me. The local shop has an opening this Thursday, so I need this muffler like yesterday. Any websites?

Just get the magnaflow SS oval.

edit: noticed you mentioned custom 2.5, get a 22in magnaflow resonator for some sound reduction.

that's what i've been asking all along. Magnaflow is pretty much the exact same thing (save for the name), and you can buy them at your local Midas. Dynomax and Borla also make quality oval mufflers in T304 stainless-steel.

 

Try inlinefour in LA they carry es oval mufflers

As odd as it sounds look at a borla muffler... same see through design as the magnaflow.

 

Get the Magnaflow oval (very similar to ES oval) from Kteller.. Good seller..

 

Borla and Dynomax (UltraFlo) both sell similar looking straight thru stainless steel mufflers.

Ordered my ES from them on a Tuesday afternoon, delivered it to my door the next morning. They're approximately $100 at most places

helps when your near to local they wont scam someone that close

i would tell u to get it from jdmhondaparts but when you call them some of them are dicks... sorry to offened any of you guys who rep. them but it's true... and sheng tried to get me a cable b16 for 1500 like 2 years ago when i looked like a little kid.... he told me "it's either you want it or leave"

 

JHP has had them since Thursday, so they are in stock now

haha, they have plenty of satisfied nationwide customers, not just Cali. Seems that everybody has "heard something" about every shop out there.
