how do i fix a blown head gasket on a 88 2.0s b20a3
step by step if some one can help??
i know i need a new head gasket but wut else would i need and wut do i need to drain and replace and take off to do this repair??? thanks

well, i did this on my 89 2.0 si, which is the fuel injected version, but it is pretty much the same...
you can do it yourself i'm sure, and you'll really only need a few metric wrenches and sockets (10,12 and 14 mm are pretty much all you need) and some pliers.
the only gasket you ABSOLUTELY need is the head gasket, everything else can be reused. (even manifold gaskets and stuff, provided they are in decent condition)
you'll definitely need a torque wrench.
As far as what to do step by step, you need either a manual or a serious step by step writeup, not something someone just wrote up by memory.
you can also take this opportunity to replace things if you want (timing belt, water pump, valve stem seals, cam seals).
I know this post isn't much help, but this is fairly serious stuff, and you really should have a manual to get you through this. Use this forum if you get stuck or for any tips and tricks.
