Legend/NSX/TypeR/Accord Wagon calipers
I wanted to upgrade my 98 GS-R brakes for a larger setup... i know most of these are are straight bolt on.... but i'm wonder what i need to do in order to have these in a GS-R... do i need the TypeR knuckles and what year of calipers do i need for the install?
its basically bolt on
need any of those calipers
I'm doing ITR caliper with some brembo blanks from fastbrakes
you'll need to shave down the caliper bracket some

can this be done with any honda caliper, as in can we use the NSX calipers front and rear on an integra (GSR) or will only the ITR fit?
only reason i would go with the NSX are because they are labeled, what other mods do i need to do this, Bigger rotors as well as any brackets, and how abot wheel size, can i fit NSX calipers under a stock 15" GSR wheel or do i need to move up to 16/17"
thanks

i wouldnt waste your money on nsx calipers just for the looks since they will be far more expensive than legend calipers (2 piston like nsx but without the lable)
as for puttin the rear calipers on i dont think its as straight forward as the fronts and since the front does most of the braking its not really worth all the hastle.
ok now once you go to instal your new brakes here is what u will need:
1. Calipers (duh), but make sure they come with the brackets or else they wont bolt on to the knuckle. you will also need the bolts that hold the caliper to the bracket because they are much bigger then the stock gsr ones.
2. 11in rotors redrilled to 4x100 (ie fastbrakes kit)
3. Pads of your choice
4. Some sort of device to take away the few mm of material needed to clear the rotor. (i cant remember which side tho
but u should be able to tell once u install the brackets to check for clearances)
you will also need brake cleaner.
helpfull tip: when u install everything to check if anything rubs put 2 lug nuts on with big washers and spin the rotor because when u put your wheels on it pushes the rotor back and may cause it to rub if you didnt take enough material off.
thats everything i can think of now...hope it helps a little since there wasnt much info on my setup before i did it. (legend calipers with the fastbrakes kit.)
they also clear 94-95 gsr rims and si rims so im sure they will clear the other oem 15 in rims
