Default Tranny Diagnosis Help?

Automatic Transmission does not downshift like it used to at 50/60mph etc.
I tried passing a truck the other night and stepped on the gas(wot)
the car had very little pick like a slug. The rpms steadily climbed
up butnot in a hurry like it always used to. It feels like the
horsepower is present as the car still pulls but not hard.
There is no slipping/hardshifts of the transmission whatsover
If feels like there is very little torque present at crusing speeds,
but from a start 5mph-40mph the pickup is present as the rpms surge
when at wot. What can be the cause? It's being take to the dealer friday
but I would like to know before hand as well as the dealer by chance
giving me some bs, as this is not normal.possibly torque coverter?

I believe you are close but not exact.

If the torque converter doesnt make any noise (grinding, pinging), then it is most likely one of these things:
Lock-up solenoid valve
Lock-up solenoid valve wiring or connectors
Lock-up timing piston
PCM (powertrain control unit)

What year car is it again?

2003 Honda Accord EX V6 6k
It's weird now that I look at it at the lower speeds 5-50or so when floored
the pick up is there but not present at crusing speeds like it used to be no
neck snapping downshift like it used to be. Tommorow in for check up
Thinking about it possibly a bad solenoid. ?

WOW!!! brand new and already having problems with it? not good.

possibly low hydro pressure, but it sounds more like a lock-up problem.
