HELP!!! Does anybody have a need of 3 ITR wheels? Feded Screwed me!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a recent transaction with a fellow HT member were we traded wheels. I sent him all 4 of my ITR wheels that were in NEARLY mint condition including tires.
Two of the wheels were bundled together but got seperated making a total of 4 packages. Two of them got damaged (scratches) and 2 came in the condition they were sent out in.
I had made a claim on 2 wheels that were 2 tracking numbers. Fedex picks it up from the recipients household. It takes nearly 3 weeks for Fedex to deliver ONE wheel. They lost the 4th wheel!!!!
I have been in touch with my Fedex claims agent for nearly 2 months since the situation.
The 2 wheels in good condition were left at the friends house and now Im stuck with a 3rd wheel that has been scratched. No 4th wheel.
Fedex claims I denied shipping which is the ****** (excuse my language) stupidest thing to do in this case so they defaulted $100 per packaging. I did not deny insurance but I do not have my receipt to prove that. So that just leaves me no ground for my argument.
So now, Im stuck with their SHITTY *** $200 and 3 wheels. One wheel in my house in Texas, and the other 2 in Washington state.
CLIFFNOTES: I only have 3 wheels, 1 scratched, 2 in almost mint condition and they only give me $200 for a resolution. Oh yeah, they lost all 4 Acura Caps!!!!!!
I am now selling 3 GM ITR wheels with Kuhmo Ecsta 712 205-50-15. Here was my original thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=425586
Make your best offer on these 3 wheels. I dont expect much, anything can help at this time. Thanks.
(Mods: if you feel this is a FS post then delete if you think so)
Im one pissed off person right now, having term papers due in the next week doesnt help out either.

UPS did the exact same thing to me a few months ago. Luckily they found my 4th wheel/tire half way across the country. TOok them about a month to find it.

FedEx just 'lost' an R tranny that Gong Show had purchased from another H-T board member. Luckily the seller had another.
How do you 'lose' an 80lb tranny? Or for that matter, a wheel/tire?
I'm fairly certain these items are being 'moved' by FedEx employees. You just don't loose items this big without ANY explanation.

Dont even get me started on fedex........ The second tranny came but the driver tried to say he couldnt find my house. The address is on the house and the mailbox.
So I went and picked up the second tranny from fedex. And its bad when a driver/employee from fedex says that someone had to have stole the first tranny after telling him the story about the first tranny.
The driver said"How can you loose something this big"??? "someone had to have stole it"
Props to Brian Wong aka B18c-powered_si for getting me another tranny before the settlement with the first tranny with fed-ex was taken care of...

Hearing things like this really sucks.
I swore by FedEx Ground, mostly because UPS is so customer un-friendly and their tracking system is so slow they might as well not have one. USPS is expensive, like UPS, compared to FedEx Ground. Oh well....

If it make you feel any better, FedEx cracked my Spoon CF wing (EK) that I sold to a H-T member. Now, I'm going through the clain process. Hopefully, they will reimburse me for the full insured & actual amount of the wing. Cracked CF wing is no good for anything.

p.s. Always insure at their full value. You never know when the shipping company will make mistakes. (UPS lost 2 of my wheels before... they had to give me $625 in return for their mistake).

I always insure for slightly over full value to cover new shipping materials, and so no one gets screwed at all.

Yeah, with all the parts I've been ordering recently, I had been having nothing but luck. Until the most important part I needed got lost/stolen.
Now I just lost all faith once again in shipping companies. The first time was when I got my motor from JDMhondaparts. Ordered my motor in November, and didnt recieve it to April of the following year. I think that was more of Sheng's fault than the shipping company on that scenerio.
But that made me drop my faith in internet sales.

This is very true. Or you will end up getting screwed big time. Im glad Brain insured the tranny or I would have been screwed.

A tip to all you guys:
Anything shipped UPS ground through the customer counter is automatically protected up to $100 if damage/lost if you refuse to buy insurance. I'm not sure if it's per package but a email to UPS should clear it up. FedEX DOES NOT have this.

Yup, FedEx insures all items up to $100, even if you don't insure your item. Then, it's $0.75 per $100 insured values. (I think.)
