I am getting ready to install my WW RS lip and wanted to know if you guys used anything besides the tape. I am thinking of using self tapping screws.. Any suggestions?

I followed the directions on wingswest.com and they said to use four #8 tapping screws. Two near the center and near the wheel well. As far as tape I use used 3M double sided tape. I think it was the gray colored one.

 

I just installed mine last weekend. I used self-tapping screws/bolts and 3M tape as the instructions on the WW site suggested (bought the lip used).

I used the supplied tape, and one screw on each end.

 

i used whatever came with it. (i didn't install it, bodyshop did) and i'm pretty sure its just the tape. whatever it is it's held for 2 years

 

I got the lip new, but it was from an indivudual, not directly though WW and all i have is the 3m double sided tape. I think I will use the tape and the self tapping screws.. thanks for the help guys. They all look nice in the pics.

 

i used christmas tree screws or whatever for my oem lip

 

i used 2 screws each end. and 3 along the middle portion. no tape. dont trust it personally.
