Other than the obvious with the Vafc it has a vtec controller are there any other differences? ie will the safc work fine with my h22a in my 5th gen accord?
before anyone says 'why don't u just get a vafc?' i am being offered a safc at a good price.

Yes, the AFC will work fine. You will just lose the VTEC Xover control.

 

i suggest selling the safc for the vafc cause lower vtec on the h22 is definetly worth some power and better 1/4 mile times.

Yeah and none the less you usually can find the vafc cheaper lately.

Alot of people are getting rid of vafc hacks and what not so they are all over the place. I just bought mine like a few weeks ago for my setup.

 

There is some kind of difference other than the adjustable vtec x-over.....I'm not exactly sure what it is but I have seen them have some different options that the Vafc does not have.

 

vafc if your car got v-tec, safc or safc II for your no-tec or non-honda
