When trying to control 450cc injectors which one of these units would work better? Is there any major difference between the two other than the VTEC adjustment? I'm looking for it to control my fuel at 10psi of boost and trim the injectors to a smooth idle.

 

i believe they are the same except that the VAFC has vtec option and is $439 list and the SAFC is $419 list..

yeah they're pretty much the same, but i think someone here said the SAFC can show some displays the VAFC can't. I think it was like voltage readings or something. but it all comes down to if you want to change the vtec switchover or not.

 

i smell VAFC hack coming...get the VAFC and have fun w/ the settings...don't drop your VTEC below 4800rpms noticed a loss of power when you go that low...but hey every car is different

 

Well, its not the hack. But it does include using the VAFC to trim fuel out when using 450cc injectors. Just wondering which one would work better. Fuel management w/o a standalone.

 

a lot of places sell the vafc cheaper than the safc just because they are more popular. If there is a price difference it is minimal.
