After the expo I found that my left side RA1s fairly worn while the ride side tires were almost new. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on running the right side tires on the left side of the car so that I can even out the tire wear. The tread pattern is directional but that soon disappears anyway. I guess the important question is whether the construction might be different. I know the Khumos I was running last year could be run in either direction (they only manufactured left side tires)
Any thoughts?

It doesn't matter - you can flip them from one side of the car to the other, flip them on the wheels, whatever your pleasure. The direction is only a concern if you actually have enough tread left to push water out from underneath the car as that is what the unidirectional tread is designed for.

I was thinking the same thing, but wanted some feedback before I actually swapped them over. I don't want to be bothered re-mounting them.

Thanks, but I could have pushed ALOT harder... I think I was pretty quick through the front half of the track but never took the back half close to the cars ultimate limits. If you watch my video you can see me exiting the blind right in the middle of the track suggesting allot more speed was possible (especially considering my lift at its entry). Second, I was coasting through the right hand kink at about 200km/h at the top of fourth. The car could have taken another 20 or so km/h through there but that made for a very hairy braking zone from 5th down to 2nd.
Watching my own track footage has taught me allot about where I could have picked up allot more time

Go ahead, RA-1s shouldn't have a problem. Same with Hoosier R3S03's
Were youre Kumho's the Victoracers or the new ECSTA V700s? I had a pair of shaved ECSTAs that I tried to swap left to right after a 90 minutes race, and they chunked up horribly. Just for the record I can't recommend swapping these tires at all (or even purchasing them for that matter).
Just my $.02

I know that the chunking you encountered on your Ecsta V700's was not because you swapped from side to side. I experienced the exact same results without swapping. Many others have had the same thing happen - they just seem to be far inferior to the Victoracers and I'll never buy them again.
