Default OBD1 conversion question, already searched with no luck

I was reading on TI
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">after I put the OBD1 ecu in it has been doing some weird stuff to my a/c. when I start the car and turn the a/c on it idles at 2500 and goes up and down about 500 rpms about every 3 seconds. when it finaly warms up i still idles at 1500 when the a/c is on. and also, it wont get cold for nothing! luke warm air comes out, it never gets cold. my a/c with the obd2 ecu use to be very cold and I never had these idle problems. anyone know why this would be happening? </TD></TR></TABLE>
Well, I have the same idle problem and the same AC problem. The funny thing is that My car had a obd1&gt;obd2 conversion.

I am going to try the car with my friend's iacv and if that don't work, I guess maybe something wrong with the ecu side (I've tried everything else)

What does obd1 conversion do anyways? I have searched and the only thing found is the GB for the harness.
