Tenzo R has some JDM recardo copies for like 350 a seat. They look exactly the same. I know Tenzo R is okay at best with all there other products, but for ******' 350 a seat you think its worth it? Or will they fall apart in a year?

Well, first of all they don't look "exactly the same" and the JDM versions to me. They're more like cheap copies of the regular Recaro SRDs. Second, of all the things to try to save money on, don't get cheap seats. You're the one that has to sit in them...

 

Yah I figured they were poorly made. But the 'get what you pay for theory' isnt always true. Look at the JDM DC header

I should just bite the bullet and get the real deal.

 

At very least, get real Recaro seats if that's what you're after. They don't have to be the JDM ones to be good seats (only if you want them to match the car).

 

my homie has them and they are dope. We saw them at Hot import nights and sat in them and they were hella comfortable.

 

Assuming they make seats as good as they make exhaustd and headers, in my opinion, just not worth the trouble. You do pay for hat you get. By Recaro's...only about $150 or so more. Brackets cost more but in the long run, your safety and comfort are worth it. I'm on my 3rd set of Recaro's. I now am happy with the JDM ones

Buit of all the people who posted, WHO has ACTUALLY had experience with the seats. I think NO ONE(or very few). If you haven't had them, you're just full of bullshit and don't have an opinion. Not everyone wants to waste $$ on recaro. -C

 

alos, on a side note. The stock GSR/ITR seat are very comfortable (esp leather) and VERY suportive in turns. Just MO though, -C

 

yes gay is bad and sick is good.. i have the Tenzo R seats and they are awsome quality and are very very confortable....and for the price i think they are worth it because they have as good lateral support as a similar sparco or recaro seat and they are reclinable.... i never really put them in my car b/c i am going to get 2 Sparco Evo2s for extra lateral suport..

hhehe Yeah the RX7 is an Adrenaline rush on wheels , i drive it on the street at 7psi and it still breaks loose on 4th gear, i dont have competition on the street at all, i love taking it to street races every monday and blowing fire out of my exhaust as i am pulling in ...i think the RX7 R1 is the best car ever made other than the Type-R..but they are very different cars...
