i had the N1 on my stock car before (i have since then put in dc jdm header)

the sound is great...the gains should not be more than one or 2 horsepowers

well.. exhuast or intake or header usually the first mod for u to start with, u will never gain much power unless u go for some serious expansive thing, or motor.

stock+spoon N1 = bit loud
header2.5"+test pipe+Spoon N1 = smell+super loud

if I were you I would get header+b-pipe+exhauts at the same time

eidt : the performance about stock+spoon N1 too loud for the 1~2 hp

The car feels more or less the same with only the n1. It sounds great with the stock cat in place, but is already quite loud.

All it does it just make more noise. Not much power...possibly smoother power but that is about it.

Mugen twinloop is a totally different system than the spoon n1. I would not compare them.

The twinloop will offer more gains due to that it's a full catback system but also costs 3x as much as the spoon.

Very quiet.

on a stock car, axle back and cat back hp gains wont be noticeable. you probably wont be able to feel a 3-4hp gain.

that 1-2 HP is your car shaking from the echo-ing of the exhaust. I'd be suprised if you actually got 1-2 HP from just an axleback on a stock car.

Well what do you want to do with your car? Do you want NA, Turbo or Supercharge. Drag, road course or maybe alittle of both. But like everyone say get header+b-pipe+exhaust at the same time.
Good luck

I have T1R B-Pipe and Spoon N1 on my Stock ITR!

The Dyno said, that there is no gain at all! Sound is great and very loud when you sit in the car. And when i say very loud i mean very, very loud!!!

yeah, i had a catback on my GSR without header and cat - so when i did some dyno pulls, i basically assumed that there was no catback on it. stock header/cat is so restrictive that the gains from a catback system cant be realized. but it should not be assumed that these parts, under the right setup, would not make some power.

i guarantee that if you moved up to a 2.5" collector header and a hiflow cat/test pipe and dynoed it with the t1r/spoon n1, you would get more whp than just putting on aftermarket header/cat and leaving on stock exhaust.

I'll be bolting up my custom 2.5 inch b-pipe and spoon n1 to my SMS header later today, only to feel a power loss compared to running open header

I'll be on the dyno shortly to see what kind of gains i have, But i will be back with results from the butt dyno
