Default grinding gears when revs dont match in ep?

i'm not sure if its just an ep problem or if its a dc5 problem too, but are any of you guys grinding your gears when driving normally?

I've talked to few other people who has the same problem, and they're grinding 2nd and 3rd. mines only 2nd so far, but 3rd, 4th, and 5th pop in smoothly. its not grinding as bad as it would if u dont use the clutch, but i feel it struggling to get in unless the revs match

i want to take it to honda to get it checked, but not sure what to say to get checked (i'm assuming syncros), especially if they say something like "its normal"

have any of you guys done anything about it (to those who apply)
thanks

The problem does'nt apply to me, but take it to the dealer and just tell them exactly what u told us. Afterall, it's still under warranty, or not?

my friend had the same problem then he told me its the way he presses the clutch causes it to happen. think he doesnt press it all the way down anymore, just enough and then some more to be able to shift, and it has solved his problem.

I think it's driver error. Too quick to shift.

I haven't seen any come in with shifting problems. I've seen a couple of burnt clutches...but no shift cable problems. I love the guys that come in with a burnt clutch and 1/32" left on those Michellin MXV4 XGT's. Buy the way those tires are $159 each. I'd think twice about showin off for the girlies and lightin them up. I know the whole console shifter thing is a little hard to get used to. I find myself hunting for gears when test driving. Give it some time before you go to the dealership for them to blow you off. Trust me, Warranty Work = No $. So don't expect them to look too deeply into it. I would wait until my first service or when I needed service and just mention it then. If it's really terrible...then have it checked out. Cable linkage transmissions do not give syncros any second chances. Once you grind one out real good...it's only a matter of time until it's done forever. Accords and Preludes are synonymous for loosing fifth gear syncros. People tend to get a little lazy for the 4-5 shift. I'm guilty as charged for that. Just what I've seen.....

I think if u depress the clutch ALL the way down your problems should be solved.
