Need help deciding on exaust system
I am wanting to add a cat back exaust system to my 99 prelude but i am not sure which one to add. Most of the tuners around town have a crappy sound from buying cheap mufflers i want something kind of quite and sounds good. From what i have been reading greddy is the best brand to go with
The greddy EVO is nice looking and not that loud (only kinda loud when you are on it). not raspy though
The apex'i ws system is quiet and looks more stockish (not such an aggresive looking muffler and tip) but i dont think the performance gains are as great with it than say the apex'i N1.... (which is nice looking but loud)
Tanabe hyper is nice but kinda loud, i have the tanabe racing medalian and it is a real deep loud tone, not raspy or ricy.

Thermal
, I love how it sounds on civics and tegs, I never prsonally heard one on a prelude but I am sure it still sounds nice. Maybe someone here has a thermal and can comment. Just wish they made a 3 inch for our cars

Ill have to agree with the three guys above. I just got a thermal for my 2000 prelude on saturday and i love it. Not too loud but makes a good sound. I wasnt sure if i was gonna like the dual tip but it actually looks pretty good and is close to a stock look. Got it for $480 shipped from no-limit-enterprises.com which i thought was a good deal also.
