No, i dont plan on doing this but some kids at school want to and i tried to talk to them about how pointless it would be and isnt really an ideal swap(putting a GS-R into a 5th Gen accord. I ran out of reasons though after i was guessing you wouldnt have enough torque but what are some other reasons i can use? Thanks.

Tell this kid horsepower isnt everything. He wouldnt know squat. Tell him to do the swap and go join Fast and Furious 2.

A b18 lacks a good amount of torque to pull the accord, even after all the custom work to get the motor, tranny, and axles in. Sure he can get shorter gearing, but then he'd be spending his high reving integra motor just to equal the torque output a h22 or f22 puts out. For all practicality, a h22 or h23 would do nicely.

His arguement is that he can get it for under 500 cause his friend just totalled his car and the engine is mint, and the high revs would be fun. I got lectured by him too about how his accord isnt THAT heavy. Earlier he told me his engine had 173 hp and when i proved him wrong i got made fun of for freaking out and that he didnt really care evne though he was bragging to everyone in class.

If he is that "Bull-Headed", let him do the swap, then spank him w/ your F22/F23/H22 engine. Then tell him "I told you so!"

tell him to change his final drive or switch to an H23 tranny for shorter gearing

then tell him he will get spoanked everyday by stock Accords and defiently H22 equipped Accords because he won't yeild much over 140 LBS of torque

Type SH is totally right. B18 isn't gonna get you enough torque. If he's gonna do a B18 swap, might as well get a f22 turbo kit or h22. The B18 (for some reason) is selling at a higher price than the h22 (on average). So...... waste of time.
