How to wet sand and buff?
get 3m "wet - dry" sandpaper. Its black and it will say wetsand on it. Get a little dish of water, or big, usually warm is good, a little bit of soap in it (not necessary), then take the wetdry sandpaper, dip in water, sand, dip in water, sand, etc.. . Should take out orange peel like a beauty.. then get some 3m compound polish, and polish that sucka to a mirror finish!

Seriously man, i dont think you could screw it up too much, just wetsand it lightly using something like grit 600-800 or 1000 if your really scared about it? Just dont sand through the paint, go over it just a little bit, then polish it. After you wetsand it will look like you screwed the paint job over, but whip out that 3m compound polish and BAM you got yourself a new lookin paint job!
300 seems a little steep, try to work a side job with someone. You can do it on your own just make sure you don't screw up any of the plastic or rubber panels and don't buff the paint to much or else you will burn it.

yea, everything he said, and you should get the correct rubbing compound for your car. it really helps to use a power buffer. after u buff it, it is necessary to get some swirl remover and it will be really shiny, and if u want to make it shine even more apply some wax afterwards.

I thought u needed a high speed buffer?????
I wet sanded my door with 2000grit and couldnt get the dullness out with the 3m compound.
I dont think the compound will make it shine like new. U need a highspeed buffer. It heats up the clear coat.
