Car Fax Question?

Default Car Fax Question?

If your ITR is involved in an accident what determines whether it will be on car fax or does all accidents go on car fax? Thanks for your info

I believe it's up to the insurance to report those accidents to Carfax. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

yup. if a accident get reported, its on carfax. but if its a small fender bender and both parties agree to do business privetly then its not going on carfax. but if you have a good eye you can spot differences.

my uncle was buying a celica convertable. it had a clean title. i look at the pass. side fender and i knew it was odd. so i tell him to mention it to my boss (i work at a body shop). turns out the whole pass. side of the car had been replaced cuz you could easily tell by the seam. but it wasnt on carfax and the seller knocked couple hundred off the price. the seller didnt know about it, he was selling for this other lady.
