Need help with wiring really bad. 2000 coupe.
Wasup guys, well I've been having some major issues with wiring in my car. First my radio kept blowing the under dash fuse, for no reason at all. It would blow the minute i turned the key in the ignition. I took the radio out and pulled the radio harness out to look to see if it was rubbing or cut, and nothing. So i plug everything in, and radio works perfectly and no fuses blown. Weird. So I put the dash back together and now my instrument cluster lights don't work. Checked the fuse and it is good. Check the dimmer and it is plugged in, I wiggle the wire and the guage cluster flickered for half a second and now nothing. Any advice? I'm really stuck here, i have no idea what to do short of pulling out the entire under dash harness and checking the wires with an ohm meter. Any help would be very much appreciated. Also could anyone scan me a wiring diagram?
same thing happened to me, take it to someone who knows what they are doing... they fixed my **** up in 2 seconds... i could never figure the wiring out.... plus the civic's wires are all fucked.... and weird... seriously... take it to get it installed...

thanks for the advice man. I really don't trust anyone working on my car though. I do all the work on my car cause everytime i put it in a shop i end up having to fix there **** up or reroute their wiring cause it is not to my standards. Can anybody else shed some light?
well its obvious you cant do it yourself so you should take it to a known car audio place or have the dealer look at it or atleast someone who knows what they are doing.
check your electrical hookups in your engine bay. i had some similar problems and it was just a few loose connections.

will do. funny thing is I didn't touch anything in the engine bay, just under the dash. I think I'm gonna pull the harness out and start testing it with an ohm meter.

I don't like fighting with people online but you sir can shove it. I simply asked if anyone had any suggestions. I find honda-tech a good resource because 99% of the time when i have a problem, someone else has had it as well. Therefore i ask these questions so people can give me a short cut or tell me how they might of solved it, not for ******** like you to say i am incapable of working on my car. If you can't give a productive comment then just don't reply next time.
