install on dc2 srs wheel into eg
i bougth a jdm itr srs wheel. i am going to put it in my cx and take out the aftermarket wheel. i am wondering what i have to do to re-set the srs syetm so i wont have an srs light on in my dash. and does evrything just plug right in and work.. like the horn? tried a search didnt find anything helpful. tia
what i have gathered from everything i wrote. the ITR fits the eg, and the CTR fits the ek. if not, just get a hub from momo

DAMN! dc2 whhel on an eg??!!! i hear ya. for the light, take the damn buld out if it comes on.if that dont work, beat the hell out of it with a hammer, then fix it with duct tape.
It should plug right up, and the horn should work, as long as it's grounded.
Damn, I saw a thread a few months ago about resetting the SRS light, but I can't remember for the life of me. Bump for you!

ryan, you are in the wrong damn forum with a user name like that. dont make me expose your real last name to everybody.haha. and no, if the light still comes on... that mean the damn airbag will not work in a wreck... which would make the whole trouble of getting a nice srs wheel back in there pointless.
i think i can just unplug the ecu for acouple minutes or something? should reset everything? we'll see.
i thought i seen somehwre somebody having to do something special; for the horn. i hope not!

just cuz i drive a cavy dont meani dont know my ish. i have read what people say about some things and i simply believe that a lot of these people give directions on how to do stuff when in actuality they dont need a wrench in there own hand. i have seen people give great advice on this site and some i have not. i am in the market for a honda, u know this. but its fun to look at what other people do.....aint nothin wrong with that!

Try driving up to 4th or 5th gear then turn the ignition off and back on real quick. Your dash should go through diagnostics wihtout killing the engine. this works for CELs but I am not sure for SRS but all the lights do reset when I do it including my ABS and SRS.
well is it going to be a one time reset deal, or everytime i drive. if i have to do it every time i drive, thats not what im looking for.. i guess i will just try resetting the ecu.
