Default NSX caliper review (3 track days)

I finally got to put my NSX calipers and legend rotors to the test. 2 hard track days at Beaver Run and 1 hard day at gingerman NO FADE AT ALL! I haven't even bleed the brakes, pedal is just as firm as when I started.

I'm sure any one that road with me can attest to the brake performance as they all commented on how late I was able to brake (SackDZ, Effect, Lance,..........)

Great upgrade for the price

P.S. This set-up will be for sale very soon.

What is the weight of the NSX calipers (are they 4 piston?) compared to stock? And what is the size of the Legend rotors compared to stock? Thanks.

NSX calipers are two piston. Rotors go from 25mm to 28mm.

Looks like you burnt your rotor. Did you have the brakes on after you stopped?

2 piston on each side so they are a 4pot system.

They do. He is wrong. If they were four piston there would be a bleeder valve visible and bumps for the pistons.

You must tell us how this conversion is done.

What made you choose the NSX caliper instead of the Legend caliper??

...other than the *bling* factor of course.

It is the NSX calipers, Legend 28mm thick rotors, 2mm spacers and Hawk blue pads in the pictures.

No the rotor is not burned there, that must be brake dust, dirt?????

Yes they clear 15" wheels, Those are 15" Kosei K1s in the picture.

They are 2 piston calipers

I choose them because they became available from a friend.

Do you still have the dust/heat shields behind the rotors? Any cooling ducts?

There is a certain year and trim of Legend that comes w/2piston calipers as well...I believe its the GS?? I've never seen them, but have had many references say the pistons are actually bigger.

They are $85 @autozone... NSX run you around $300 correct?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong

what type of rotors is he running? and did he need brackets for the calipers to bolt up to his hub?
