Ok so this was my first HPDE and it happend to be at Lime Rock Park. I called Andie @ Cobalt Fricton the week before and he recommended his sport compound for solo 2 and entry level HPDE's. So I grabbed a set for a four corners with new rotors. To my pleasure I got the box on time and it even included free stuff! I installed them with little trouble (Thank god for anti-sieze!) and set off to bed in the pads. I followed the instructions, let the car sit overnight and headed off to Lime Rock the Next Day.

On the street the pads performed well good cold bite and even better warm bite.

At Lime Rock the pads perfomed excellent all day. Andy (My instructor) took my car out for a rip and punished the brakes pretty badly and I got the impression was rather impressed with the pad for only being a sport compound. After the session they were smoking a bit so I took a few cool down laps and before you know it I was back punishing them in the third seesion.

All and all a great day and a great pad. After about 100 miles (Aprox 60 laps) I used roughly 1/4 of the pads up. The rotors look good and have a nice orange/blue hue to them. So there was plenty of heat in them.
