Neoprene bushings?
I talked to a mechanic the other day and I was asking his opinion on a front upper strut. He said that neoprene(spelling?) bushings off a skateboard would do the same thing. Is he crazy or what?
I suppose the material could work for one but I doubt one straight out of a skateboard would work on a car. I wouldn't guini-pig(sp?) it on my own car though.
ne·o·prene
A synthetic rubber produced by polymerization of chloroprene and used in weather-resistant products, adhesives, shoe soles, sportswear, paints, and rocket fuels
Isn't that **** like a foam???
If you are trying to make some sort of ghetto bushing. Polyurethane all the way.
