Tein HA's on EF
Couple questions, searched revealed no usefull info.
1) Anyone running Tein HA's on a EF?
2) How low do they go, inches? (not a ricer question, just comparing)
3) On a CRX you have to swap out the rear lower control arms, this true on a hatch?
Thank you kind sirs.

Screw the names and the JDM factor. Im going for looks and performance.

They don't make the HA anymore for are cars. And what are you looking for street, autox, drag. Because skunk2+tokico don't even compare to TEIN. TEIN does make the SS for are EF and they have a basic damper system coming out soon also.

1. Yes I have them and so do a couple others.
2. If you take out the helper spring and lower them all the way you get no finger gap up front and tuck about a finger in the back of tire. Tein is not made to go this low and the ride is utter ****. Use the helper spings and give your self about a finger all the way around if not more and they are excelent.
3. Yes you have to have '88 CRX Rear LCA's or you can use ITR rear LCA's They are the same thing.

hey, thanx for the reply man.
The install went fairly well except i had trouble with the bolt for the pass. rear LCA, i dealt with that. The only other headache was the brake line bracket for the front, i guess the previous owner got aftermarket shocks so the brackets were really welded on there, so i just ziptied the lines temporarily. So after dealing with all that, I did some spirited driving. I had it on the reference stiffness and height, just to see. I like them a lot. I think i made a good decision by going with the Tein HA's. At first the ride was a little stiff, but i got used to it. I was able to take turns harder, there was less body roll, and the car felt more responsive. But the ride was still a little bouncy, so i'll have to play with the settings tomorrow to figure out whats good for street. Any suggestions? But hey, if you can get Teins, then its a wise decision to get them. I dont have access to a digi cam right now, but i'll try to get pics asap. I have about 1 - 1.5 finger gap all the way around with helper springs. I'll probably drop it a little bit lower. And i know this isn't much of a review, but i've only had a little drive time on them. Hope this helps.
peace

TEIN are on a whole different level of performance when you compare them to skunk2 and tokico. And a nice setup would be Ground control with custom spring rate and koni yellows. Tokico are good shocks but they are not better then Koni yellows.
