There appears to be some confusion here....
The schedule for Hyper-fest has not been published yet. At some point about a week or so ago, Chris had published what a sample schedule with time trials might look like but that was not intended to be a schedule for any specific event.
Some people may be getting confused and looking at the schedule for Beaverun on May 10th /11th, but that is a regular Race/HPDE weekend run by the NASA Ohio region.
As far as the Hyperfest at Beaverun goes:
Instructors will be needed for the Hyperdrives which allow any person to take their car out on track after a tech inspection.
Instructors will be able to take their own car out on track during the Shotgun Ride group sessions. During these sessions, you may be taking a passenger along for the ride.
Register to be an instructor online.
Remember that the main idea of the Hyperfests is to introduce new people to road racing......the spectators that ride along and the hyperdrive participants have much to learn from you all!
E-mail me with any questions as I may not always be able to respond in a timely manner to posts on this board.

I accidentally posted under Chris' name since he was the one logged in.
The post that provided Hyperfest information about instructors was from me.

didn't neil do that?
yup. guy in front of neil checked up on his brakes and neil smashed in the front of the caprice. They were also door-to-door 2 deep r0lling around the track
at the spring driver's schools one of their new isntructors launched a caprice off the track and got it stuck in a snowbank. They left it there, couldnt be pulled out.
those cars suffer some serious ownage.
